1. Information We Collect

Quick Assessment (Tier 1): Your job title and two business challenges you describe. No account or login required.

Deep Intake (Tier 2): Company name, contact information, industry, company size, AI maturity level, strategic challenges, past approaches, and 90-day success vision.

Optional: Email address (if you choose to receive your results).

Automatically collected: Anonymized IP hash (not your full IP address), browser user agent, and timestamp.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Generate personalized AI strategy recommendations based on your role and challenges
  • Match your business problems to relevant AI capabilities from our library
  • Produce detailed capability reports and implementation roadmaps
  • Send your assessment results to your email (only if you provide one)
  • Improve our matching algorithms and recommendation quality

3. AI Processing Disclosure

Your responses are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude AI for analysis. We anonymize personally identifiable information before transmission. This means:

  • Email addresses, phone numbers, and social security numbers are replaced with placeholders before AI processing
  • Company names and contact names from structured fields are replaced in free-text responses
  • Credit card numbers and URLs with tracking parameters are removed
  • Business context (dollar amounts, percentages, employee counts, industry terms) is preserved for accurate analysis

4. Data Storage

Your assessment data is stored in a Turso database. We retain your data for up to 12 months to enable you to revisit your results and for us to improve our service.

Assessment results are also cached locally in your browser's localStorage so you can access them without an account.

5. Your Rights

Delete your data: You can delete your assessment data at any time from the results page. Deletion requires the email address associated with your assessment for verification.

Know what's stored: Your assessment results page shows all data we have about your submission.

Opt out: You can decline our data usage policy, in which case your data will not be submitted for AI processing.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Clareo:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI): Processes anonymized assessment data to generate recommendations
  • Turso: Database hosting for assessment storage
  • Vercel: Application hosting and deployment
